What We Do

Our goal is to provide adult photographers with both an enjoyable and educational photographic experience, whatever your level of expertise in traditional or digital photography. Your enthusiasm for photography and your interest in our locations are far more important than your level of experience. We take our role as instructors seriously and our emphasis is on your photography, not ours.

 

We offer a variety of program formats. Our ‘workshops’ have more formal instruction than our ‘photo tours’ which maximize photography time at our locations with mini lectures and one-on-one instruction. We keep our photo tours small so that we can provide as much (or as little) instruction in the field as you prefer, allowing us to tailor our instruction to your specific interests. While striving to help our participants to improve their photography, we also feel strongly that photography should be fun. We emphasize the creative aspects of photography as well as the technical side. On international workshops, time is taken to enjoy and absorb the culture as well.

 

Our itineraries will list the locations where we typically go but we do not generally list them by specific day. That allows us the flexibility to choose the best combination of site for the weather of the day.

 

We want to make your workshop experience as enjoyable as possible. We do ask that you be in reasonably good health and enjoy the companionship of small groups.

 

We appreciate that many of our clients return to join us for other workshops and tours in other locations.
